We know the majority of Australians are concerned about climate change, but this doesn’t always translate into action. People trust their peers, family members and loved ones more than they trust experts, scientists and environmental organisations. That’s why we’re launching a local Parents for Climate Action group in Coffs Harbour, kicking off with a picnic on World Children's Day.

Climate change will either make or break the future for our kids depending on how we respond today. And parents want to see kids' needs put first.

We need our governments to make decisions in the best interest of our kids  - increasing climate ambition so our kids can thrive in a clean economy.

That’s why parents across the country are getting active this November, engaging with their communities and representatives during the UN climate talks, and around World Children’s Day.

Our message: For the ♥️of our kids - we want to protect their future. We want politicians to do the same. #dutyofcare
