AP4CA Brisbane meet up - National Action Week

Join us with your kids for a social gathering as part of AP4CA's National Action Week. We want to demonstrate our support, strength and optimism for demanding strong action on climate leading into the federal election within our communities and with our local candidates.

Please bring along:

  • your Climate Action Now sign - we'll have some extras available
  • friends and family - the more the merrier
  • bikes and balls etc for your kids - there's plenty of fenced lawn for them to zoom around on (and there are some toys provided by the venue)
  • a reusable coffee cup

During the event:

  • we will take some photos of us all with our signs and post them to social media to show the importance of positive action on climate change to voters ahead of the coming federal election
  • grab a coffee from the on-site coffee cart
  • enjoy meeting other AP4CA members!

The Clubhouse Moorooka is the former Moorooka Bowls Club and is staffed by volunteers. It's a great community space to support. There's usually plenty of parking on the Vendale Ave side, and you can enter from that side as well.

We will let local media and local candidates know that we are meeting - hopefully some of them make an appearance!
