Suzie Brown

Non-Executive Director
Suzie is the mother of 9 year old Lila and is passionately fighting for her future.
Suzie started a movement of parents calling for climate action and shifting the politics right across the country - Australian Parents for Climate Action. With just a small group of volunteer mums, she turned this idea into a powerful force for change, with over 15,000 supporters and volunteers in every state.
She continues to give her all as a volunteer director. She also teaches Mindfulness Meditation to help Australians to feel less stressed. With the environmental destruction we’re all seeing, it’s hard not to feel anxious so she gives people tools to feel happier and calmer. She lives in the Central Coast NSW in an ecovillage.

Australian Parents for Climate Action meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
