**👫All Welcome!👫**
Young kids, parents, grandparents and supporters will come together on the steps of Parliament in SA to show their support for #ClimateActionNow for the health, safety and future prosperity for all Australian families.
This Global
#ClimateStrike will occur ~8 weeks before the Federal election; an important time to show our local Federal candidates that climate action is very important to SA families!
We will gently and *hope*-fully call for climate action in a kid-friendly way by:

dressing with some yellow (the
#CAN colour),

showing our handmade posters and #ClimateActionNow posters for a group photo on the steps,

listening to a short speech from a school student, and

performing a very simple dance to the Peter Combe
#climateaction song "Sun Comes Up" (no experience necessary, we will lead you on the day!)
We will take

photos and

video of our kid-focussed action to share with candidates and our community and let them know that we want them all to 'raise their ambitions for climate action!'
We will begin our action at 10:00am and head down to Elder Park Rotunda once we're finished for a byo Picnic and Play! (around 10:30ish)
There won't be a march in Adelaide this year, but the SS4C crew have organised an evening event (see here for details: https://www.schoolstrike4climate.com/upcoming-actions).
All adults are encouraged to wear N95/cloth masks, and children may wear masks too if they wish.
Ps. Please consider joining our SA Parents for Climate Action Facebook group (facebook.com/groups/sap4ca/) to stay up-to-date with plans for the action.
