Having lead many high profile innovations and complex projects she has developed a strong ability to harmonize and galvonize high performing cross-functional teams across matrix organisations. She is driven by a curiosity and passion of turning problems into solutions to deliver positive long and short-term results, which is why she is now fully focused on climate action and a dedicated member of the Australian Parents for Climate Action (AP4CA).

"Parents are in such a powerful position to create the change we need to address the climate crisis. We vote politicians into government, we represent massive purchase power to businesses, we make up a big percentage of the workforce and have many connections/ networks in our communities. These super powers combined with the love for our children makes us an unstoppable force for creating the change we need to see in the world. Connecting with other like minded parents across Australia gives me enormous hope for the future. I hope you'll join us in action at Australian Parents For Climate Action.", Laura.

A very proud mum of two amazing kids, Laura loves spending her spare time in breathtaking Wadawurrung country with family and friends, “We really do live in the lucky country, so I’m determined to keep it that way”. She is working hard at lowering her own carbon footprint and although not blessed with a green thumb, is delving deep into the amazing world of ‘soil’ and composting to develop her veggie garden with her kids and having a lot of fun along the way!

Parents for Climate meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
