Tree Planting with AP4CA and Wynyard Landcare

Did you know that May 17-23rd is National Volunteer Week, where we celebrate volunteers and encourage you to do your bit for your community. Can you help us plant some trees this volunteer week?
For the second year in a row Australian Parents 4 Climate Action (AP4CA) will be supporting Wynyard Landcare to get hundreds of trees in the ground to help regenerate the Fossil Bluff Hill and do our part to slow climate change.
This will be a fun, family friendly event, where you can get your hands dirty and make a real difference in our community. Small hands can dig for worms and carry empty pots. Strong hands can dig holes and carry tools. All welcome.
We will provide trees and some tools, but please bring your own gardening gloves or preferred tools if you have any.

Because Fossil Bluff is a Parks and Wildlife reserve we are encouraged to register as volunteers which allows you to undertake volunteer activities with Parks around the state. Please register here: https://app.betterimpact.com/Application...

Parents for Climate meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded.
