Podcast: climate playgroups connecting mums and dads on climate action

Posted by Nic Seton on 19 December 2022

A playgroup in Sydney is turning despair about the planet’s future into hope by taking action and connecting with people who share their concerns and motivations.

Rosa Brown, mum and English teacher, set up the Inner West Families For Climate Action playgroup. She decided to foster connections with other new local parents, and hopes this play group will encourage deeper conversations and committed action around climate and the environment.

Find out more about the playgroup at the website: www.ap4ca.org/iwf4ca and Facebook group: @InnerWestFamiliesForClimateAction

Inner West Sydney Families for Climate Action and podcasters from Brain on Nature, with support from the Inner West Sydney Council, teamed up to produce a podcast on the power of "climate playgroups" - featuring Dr Rebecca Huntley, a leading social researcher and Australian Parents for Climate Action's Advisory Group Chairperson.
