Inner West Sydney Families for Climate Action

Welcome to Inner West Families for Climate Action!

Thank you for visiting our page!

We aim to connect local families concerned about climate change in fun, inspiring and impactful ways.

We cover the Inner West broadly, from: Burwood, Canada Bay, Strathfield, Inner West, Canterbury-Bankstown and City of Sydney LGAs.

Of course, families outside of these areas are more than welcome to attend our events!

For the past year, we’ve been holding a monthly climate playgroup in Summer Hill. We also organised the Big Climate Picnic in Burwood Park, and we’ve met with the Liberal, ALP, Greens and Independent candidates for the federal seat of Reid. We’ve made submissions to local councils about making our areas more sustainable and climate friendly. And we’ve been on a wonderful camping trip to Bents Basin!

To increase our ability to push for strong, bi-partisan climate action, we’d love your help.

If you’d like to find out more about the group, or join our organising team, please let us know ([email protected]). We’d love to have a chat!
