Coping with the COVID crisis

As this COVID-19 crisis is unfolding, we want to support the AP4CA community - and through that your local communities - supported and connected through this time.

This is certainly an unknown and anxious time for us all. And for our members who are passionate about climate action, it's hard to know what all this means for climate campaigning.

In many ways the best climate action we can be taking right now is caring for our communities.

As families with young small children, this might mean things like setting up zoom or facebook video calls with friends to keep our and their kids entertained while in self-isolation, or putting rainbows in our windows to brighten the spirits of our community (https://www.facebook.com/groups/214708792935275/), joining a local #ViralKindness group (https://viralkindness.org.au/) or connecting through your AP4CA local group

Help increase our impact by sharing here

Australian Parents for Climate Action meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
