Clean Up & Celebration Cake

Join us for a school holiday community clean up along the foreshore (between the Butchulla monument and Wet Side) and celebration cake!

Let's be visible caring for our local environment and come together to celebrate the grassroots climate movement successes achieved at the recent election and the part that our group has played in this.

9:30am Iluka from Buzznut the Bee will introduce our clean up - BYO gloves if you have them, we will have some gloves and bags to share on the day.

10:30am Celebration cake and plastic free morning tea (for Plastic Free July). We will also be acknowledging the support of a few key group members and local leaders at our morning tea. Please bring a plate of food to share if you are able. Adverntureside is a great place for the kids to play while we chat and enjoy morning tea together.

Parents for Climate meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
