Climate in the Library

We’re hosting Climate in the Library for local families concerned about the impact of climate change.

(due to the rainy weather forecast on Sunday we've shifted to Marrickville Library from the original location of Petersham Park)

You’ll hear what Inner West Council is doing on climate as well as opportunities to get involved.

Ask questions and share ideas ahead of the upcoming Local Government elections in September.

Format:

Short presentations from Inner West Councillors and the opportunity for informal follow on conversation. This is a family friendly event - you can move in and out of discussion as needed.

We are also supporting the 12 Days of Action against future coal and gas projects. We will take a group photo in support of the campaign (for those who wish to participate).

The room has a large open space and there will be toys, colouring and books for kids.

Bring your friends and a keep cup (if you'd like a tea :)).

We look forward to seeing you!

Will you come?

Parents for Climate meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
